A question a day…

Tips and techniques

Just a quick reminder that I post a thinking question each day at www.topsypage.com/questions

These are mainly created with younger children in mind, as Early Years colleagues have mentioned how useful they are. Now there’s also an extra question every Friday aimed at children age 7+.

Also, if you haven’t seen it already you might like to watch my short video (6 mins) showing a question being used at the beginning of every day and getting parents involved.

Recently, I asked a Manchester Deputy Head how P4C was going in her school. It’s great that they are seeing impact from doing a thinking question every day:

In Reception, the question of the day is already working beautifully – and the parents are engaging through our app (as they can't currently come into the classroom), so that is really positive.
