I’ve really enjoyed listening to this podcast from BBC Radio 4. It gives a range of perspectives and practical advice for effective everyday communication.

I found the episode with hospital doctor Rob Elias particularly interesting – he spoke about the need to meet his patients where they’re at, listening first rather than just telling them his expert opinion. This has big parallels with teaching and learning.
