  1. Should schools have a four-day week?

  2. Should students be allowed to use phones in lessons?

  3. Should everyone learn how to cook before leaving school?

  4. Should sports competitions aim to make as much money as possible?

  5. Should schools teach more life skills than academic subjects?

  6. Should students be able to choose all of their subjects?

  7. Should people under 16 be allowed to vote?

  8. Should there be a minimum age for owning a smartphone?

  9. Should schools ban energy drinks?

  10. Should fast food advertising aimed at young people be banned?

  11. Should there be an automatic daily time limit for gaming?

  12. Should climate change education be compulsory in schools?

  13. Should people be fined for wasting food?

  14. Should there be a maximum amount of money someone can earn?

  15. Should billionaires have to give more money to charity?

  16. Should university education be free?

  17. Should everyone have to learn a second language?

  18. Should schools start later in the morning?

  19. Should teenagers be paid for household chores?

  20. Should young people be allowed to leave school earlier if they have a job?

  21. Should robots be allowed to replace more jobs in the future?

Ask them what their reasons are.

Listen carefully to their thoughts.

Try to see their perspective.

Challenge them!
